Nationwide Tour Winn Dixie Jacksonville Open Qualifier

Overall, I'm very pleased with the progress that my game is making.  I'm not satisfied by any means with the resulting score, but my mental approach is much more fresh and solid than one year ago.  Despite hitting a few blocks with my irons and driver hooks, my ball is doing what it's suppose to the majority of the time.  I hit the ball farther than I did in the Miami qualifier last Monday because Marsh Creek was a much tougher golf course.  We started on the back nine and I turned at 41.  I made three birdies on the day an shot 36 on the front nine (which was our back nine).  I'm pleased with the way I hung in there despite taking an out of bounds on a par three in which I still made a four!   
 
Even though my tasks are many right now with supporting a family, I do believe God provides everything to us right on time.  In my experience, God not only provides sustenance and finances, but he also provides the skills and attributes needed to get the job done.  Although my goal of qualifying did not come to fruition, I'm looking forward to finishing out the week at PGA Tour Qualifying School by looping for Tim Cantwell.  We shot 71 (-1) today and are tied for 28th/77 players.  Tim has a great golfing mind and his putting is superb.  Check out the results for this week's First Stage tournament at Grasslands CC in Lakeland, FL until Friday at www.pgatour.com.
